Smoked Pizza Mozzarella

Semi-hard, medium-fat, pasta filata (stretched-curd) cheese. This product grates and slices well and is a favourite ingredient in pizzerias. We recommend it primarily for Roman-style pizzas baked for a longer time at a lower temperature (up to 300–400 °C). It is also ideal for sandwiches and pasta dishes. The smoked version is smoked exclusively over hardwood, which gives it a subtly smoky, distinctive Italian flavour. Although it is a typically Italian cheese, Smoked Pizza Mozzarella is also an excellent ingredient for Hungarian-style pizzas.
